Introduction
Coaching gives busy executives confidential space and time to work through the business challenges they face in a supportive and listening environment, and then explore options to move forward.

Coaching is a proven and effective way of increasing the performance potential of an individual or team. It can help managers and directors to identify new ways of thinking; improve productivity; enhance working relationships, morale and job satisfaction; as well as refine their leadership style.

Typical Objectives:

Working in partnership to achieve your development objectives
Helping to find clarity around the things that are important
Providing support in identifying possible courses of action to further existing goals that have yet to be progressed to a satisfactory completion
Giving guidance and illumination to reveal new perspectives and new ways of thinking

Sample Programme
It is essentially a short-term, time effective, outcome specific, action orientated and a personally tailored approach for each individual. Typically, executives are seeking goal-oriented rapid development, usually around finding options, improving performance or changing behaviour. Topics for discussion could be stated development objectives, or resolution of specific issues.


Outline
There is not a set agenda as each situation is different, but examples include:

Focusing ourselves totally on the client when in the facilitation or coaching environment to help them find greater clarity
Acting as a (non-judgmental) sounding board off which to bounce the client’s ideas
Challenging the client’s acceptance of how things are today
Exploring alternative options
