The Brief
The day to day challenges faced by teams in the stock markets and merchant banks are well documented. Rather than ‘sit back’ and weather the storm, NatWest decided to take a proactive approach. They wanted to stimulate their Sales Teams to think of new approaches to existing products that would help raise both morale and revenue levels. Their need was to develop a way of bringing an eclectic mix of specialists together and have them engage in a creative thinking process. The trick was that all this had to happen rapidly, as time is always short, like a sprint to find a needle in a haystack.
The Solution
We designed a programme that would help all their members think ‘outside the box’. This enabled them to reassess and amend their approach to problem solving and idea generation. They developed an agreed process that accelerated communication between the different team members and left with techniques that were easy to use and difficult to forget. All essential for the origination and implementation of new solutions.
