Introduction
Very often people feel that they are the passive ‘victim’ of change, which is disempowering and causes extreme anxiety. We help people to disassociate and de-personalise change in order to take a more controlled approach to changes that occur.
Self-awareness is key, since all change starts with ourselves. There may not be much we can do about how things are changing in the organisation, but there is a lot we can do about how we react to the situation. Although at times it may not seem so, we do have total control over how we cope with change.
Typical Objectives:
Understanding and acknowledging that ‘change is the only constant’, and therefore worth investing time in learning strategies for coping now and in the future |
Gaining an insight and self-awareness regarding your personal responses to change |
Building resources and support in coping with change |
Learning how to re-frame change from negative to positive |
Developing a personal action plan based on sound strategies |
