You may think your best bet
of making a million resides
with an appearance on a TV programme hosted
by a middle-aged blonde
ex-DJ from Capital Radio.

But, if the bright lights of
'Who Wants to be a Millionaire'
don't inspire you, or your
general knowledge is not
quite up to scratch, your team

The Experience
Your team have to Make a Million within a specified time by deciphering a coded message.

You are provided with an information pack that contains a resource list, a selection of Envelope tasks to undertake and a budget. Each task requires an initial investment in time (human resources) and/or money. What is not clear at the outset is the link between investment and return. To undertake a task you select one from your list and buy a corresponding sealed Envelope from the ‘Bank’.

Upon completion of a task you collect your rewards from the Bank which accumulate throughout the challenge.

The Details
Key Learning Points
The overall theme is that the higher value tasks often yield much better returns, are no more complex than simple tasks and often require fewer people but better coordination.
Vivid reflection of the working environment with deadlines to meet and tasks to complete.
Some tasks will involve everyone working together in physical, fun challenges. Others purposely ‘split’ the team to mirror working apart.

Complementary activities to consider:
Facilitated Workshop; Wave Rider; Helium Poles
