Introduction
Being a leader is not about having power over others. Nor is leadership about control; the better you are as a leader the better you are able to influence. The more influential you are, the less you need to control.
We will develop your ability to create a positive, unified working environment, anticipate difficult situations and deal confidently with them when they arise. It is what people do that counts; the results they achieve that matter; and quality leadership makes the difference.
Typical Objectives:
Exploring whether your team are ‘high performing’ |
Knowing how to affect their performance and the difference between managing and leading |
Recognising your personal leadership style and adapting it accordingly |
Being comfortable with your values and ‘principle-centred’ leadership |
Using NLP and other techniques to make your life as a leader, easier and more effective |
Sample Programme
We suggest that our facilitator talks on the telephone to representatives from your team prior to the event. This will enable us to create rapport and ensure that we appreciate their main concerns, hopes and key messages regarding the event. It also generates a sense of ownership, with team members having been involved throughout the process.
