Introduction
With an increase in dispersed teams, managers face new challenges in working with their teams from a distance. We focus on building and sustaining high performance in a remote team setting.

Some of the challenges that occur more frequently include; building a sense of community, team spirit and presence through technology; providing effective feedback to the team and individuals; creating a virtual environment to motivate the remote team; getting more out of team meetings and briefings; and understanding the emotional, psychological and physical requirements of remote workers.

Typical Objectives

Identifying your current remote management practices
Applying tried and tested techniques in the new context of remote management
Coaching your team ‘from a distance’
Maintaining commitment and motivation
